The only way I've been able to log in to my machine is to stop it and restart it. Ctrl - Alt - Del doesn't seem to work and even when it does it won't take my PW.

What else can I do? I'd like to avoid this for when I have to save work.

Hello,

Do you mean the key combination of Ctrl- Alt - Del or the selection from the Mac Menu > Devices > Keyboard > Ctrl+Alt+Del?

If you haven't tried the above, kindly do and notify us of the results.
