Lag when moving mouse

Hello!
I have been using parallels for a year or so without any problems. One or two updates ago I started getting a lot of lag whenever I move my mouse around in parallels. I have optimize for games on (otherwise the scroll is all wonky) but it's the same if I turn it off. Any idea what the issue might be?

To try to fix your issue, please do the following:
1) You need to shut down your Virtual Machine. It's important.
2) Locate your Windows virtual machine (https://kb.parallels.com/10109)
3) Open your Windows Virtual Machine by right click on it and choose Show Package Content.
4) Find and open config.pvs file by right click and choose Open With -> TextEdit
5) Then you need to find the below lines (Press Command + F > Type in first sentence and press enter) :
<SmoothScrolling dyn_lists="">
<Enabled>1</Enabled>
</SmoothScrolling>
<TimeSync SyncInterval_patch="1" dyn_lists="">
<Enabled>1</Enabled>
<SyncInterval>60</SyncInterval>
and switch all 1 to 0 and press Command + S key to save the file.
6) Restart Parallels Desktop.
7) Check if the issue persists.
In case if the issue persists, please collect an additional technical report (click Parallels icon || > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and send the report's 9-digit ID in a reply to this post.

We can note the presence of system flags in your virtual machine. Are those there for a particular reason?
Would the issue reproduce if you removed them:
1. Shut down the Virtual Machine. Make sure that the virtual machine is shut down. If it is in a suspended state, please run it and then shut down (Actions > Shut Down).
2. Open the Virtual Machine's Configuration:
2.1. Click on the Parallels Desktop icon in the Mac menu bar -> select "Control Center".
2.2. Click on the cogwheel icon, next to your virtual machine.

3. Open "Hardware" tab -> Click on the "+" icon and select USB device.
4. Scroll down to "Boot Order" -> "Advanced Settings" -> "Boot flags" and remove the text from the boot flag field.
5. Start your virtual machine and check if the issue persists.
If the issue persists, please collect an additional technical report on after the issue reproduction (Click on the Parallels Desktop icon in the Mac menu bar -> Help -> Send technical data -> check "Attach screenshots..." -> press Send Report) and send the report's 9-digit ID as a reply to this e-mail.
