Macbook Air M2 Crash

I'm hoping someone else has had the same issue and has been able to find a solution. My Macbook Air M2 keeps crashing and then restarts many times a day. I returned return my laptop and bought a new one hoping it was a hardware issue but the same issue continued to happen on the new one. Some info here:

- I have played around with different combinations of the Parallels guest memory, cpu and display configurations but all still have the issue.
- I have an external LG 5K monitor attached via lightning cable.
- Both the old and new laptops were configured with 24MB of RAM.
- Guess OS is Windows 11, Host OS is 13.0 (22A380)

My wife's iMac was having the crashing problem multiple times a day, and 3 different calls to Apple Support, and reinstalling the OS multiple times didn't fix the problem.

Through careful observation I determined it was happening whenever her Screen Saver was in use. As it happens that she chose a screen saver that accessed the last 12 months of photos from the Apple Photos library, but with >20,000 photos, at some point the screen saver would crash.

This is all I've got, but your problem sounded familiar and I hope this is of help.

One other thought -- If you have Time Machine running try turning that off. That has also caused my wife's iMac problems.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I read on some other forums that people were having a similar issues with the screen saver on the Macbook Air so I tried disabling it but it didn't fix the issue for me.

I detached the cable to time machine a while back to rule that out so no time machine backups have been running. However, I just removed it completely from System Settings now.

The only thing that has been consistent is that the crash only happens when Parallels is running.

For us to further investigate this issue, kindly provide us with the below information:
1. Reproduce the issue and collect a technical report (right-click Parallels icon in Dock > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and provide us with the report's 9-digit ID in reply to this post.

2. Collect additional technical data, next time when your Mac crash, please collect the following data:

a. Collect files from the following folders:
/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/ (all files from this folder).
/Library/Logs/ (all files that start with "parallels").
/var/log/ (all files that start with "system").

b. Compress the files (right-click > compress) and upload them to an online sharing drive and share the link with us.
