R rwhiffen Junior Member Aug 16, 2007 #2 Chapter 11 of the "Desktop for Mac Users Guide.pdf, http://www.parallels.com/files/upload/Parallels_Desktop_for_Mac_User_Guide.pdf or the Parallels Image Tool Users Guide.pdf will explain it for you. You have to run the image tool to shrink the image. It is, after all, an 'expanding disk' not an 'expanding and shrinking disk'. Rich Whiffen
