Need help installing Norton Security on the Mac side

Hi everyone,

Mac running Yosemite
Win 8.1 VM
Product: Norton Security (latest) for 10 devices, PC, Mac, smartphones & tables

Installed Norton Security on the Windows side. All is well.
Using Safari, I downloaded Norton Security on the Mac side and unzipped it. (Several times.) After unzipping, it just seems to vanish. The product doesn't show in LaunchPad (although the Norton Security icon with Parallels red bars is there).

Can Norton Security running only on the Windows side protect the Mac side?

Or is there something else I need to do to activate it on the Mac side?

Please let us know whether you purchased Norton Security for Mac with the purchase of Parallels Desktop or any Online store, so that we can assist you better.

I didn't get an email about your reply, so am only seeing it now.
I purchased Norton Security 2015 from a retail store. It allows you to protect up to 10 devices, including both PC and Mac.
