Install on internal and external OSX boot drive

Hi,

I want to experiment with booting OSX from an external drive on my mac mini.

Will a single Parallels Desktop license allow installation on both the internal OSX boot drive and an external OSX boot drive on the same mac mini?

Hi David,

It is not possible as Parallels Desktop License key can be used only once in a Mac (OS X). Please refer End User License Agreement at http://kb.parallels.com/112971

Thanks Abdul, I'm a little surprised that Parallels cant detect its all on the same mac hardware.

Another activation question please: I am thinking of starting from scratch with a new install of OSX, will I have any problems installing Parallels again on the same box ?

Should I uninstall before I start again ?
