Migration between virtual machines

I have a MacBook Pro and have established a virtual Windows 7 machine using Parallels 9. I recently got Windows 8.1 and created another virtual machine with it. Is there a way to migrate the programs from my Windows 7 machine over to the Windows 8.1 machine. I don't want to upgrade my Windows 7 machine to Windows 8, because of the work I do as an educational technology consultant I may need either or both machines, depending on the schools I work with and what they have.

Is there a simple way to do this without having to re-install all the programs on the Windows 8 machine.

Both virtual machines are on the same MacBook Pro machine. I can boot both virtual machines at the same time.
 
Hi hdhswr1,

Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 are different stand alone operating systems. There is no possbility to migrate applications between the Windows OS.

You would have to re-install programs on the Windows 8.1 VM.
