Parallels 9 Transfering Older Windows 7 PC

Can I transfer Windows 7, only the OS, over to my late-2013 Macbook Pro without all the unnecessary files and programs as I already transferred most of them over?

I'd rather not spend 100+ dollars on a fresh copy of Windows when I already have PC with Windows 7 on it.

Yes you can transfer the Windows 7 OS to Parallels Desktop.

Please follow the KB article link provided below for instruction on Migrating Windows PC to Parallels Desktop VM:

In the Configure make sure you select only the "C drive" in order to transfer only the Windows 7 OS.
