Unable to share files Parallels 8+Win 8/Mac 10.7.5

Upgraded to Parallels 8, loaded Windows 8 and now unable to share files between the Mac and Windows 8 on Parallels.

If I go to Virtual Machine > Configure > Options I have:

Share Folders: Home folder only

Shared Profile - "Share Mac user folders with Windows" is checked.

SmartMount "Map Mac volumes to Windows" is checked.

Share Windows:
"Access Windows folders from Mac" is checked.
"Mount virtual disks to Mac desktop" is checked.

Any help would be appreciated.

This may be a silly question on my part but did you install Parallels tools?

Not so silly as it turned out. I did a reinstall, which crashed windows, then after windows rebooted and did several other updates I did another reinstall which finally worked and now I can share files. Thank you.
