Can't play dvd ("tv out is not working" but there is no tv out)

I tried to play a dvd movie on windows media player and power dvd inside Parallels (Windows XP).

In both cases I get an error message in which I learn that I have problems with the tv out or that playing dvd on a tv out is not allowed because of some rights management procedure.

Is there any way of solving this? Maybe there is a way to teach the system that there is no tv out?

I mean, I can't even understand what it is bothering about... I of course have a dvi-out on my mac, which I could use for tv out, but I'm not using it.

I'm wondering why the inside-parallels-Windows_XP senses this problems. Any idea?
