I lost the Mac half of my Parallel desktop.

I am a new Mac user. have been useing my Macbook for three weeks. This morning I installed the Windows XP that I purchased with the Mac. when it was all done I can not ge3t back to the Apple side and a paper I've been working on is in there. Can you Help?

You're going to have to be a whole lot more specific about what you're doing and what is or is not happening if you want help.


I'll take a shot in the dark and guess that you starting Windows in Parallels and went to full screen and don't know how to return to OSX. If that's the case, have you tried shutting down windows?

And for me second totally random guess, are you sure you're using Parallels and not Bootcamp?

If Parallels/Windows is in full screen mode, press Alt-Enter to reduce it to a Mac finder window.

If you are talking about Boot Camp, restart and hold down the Option key.
