I am on the phone with Parallels Tech Support - have been on hold for 50 minutes. Argh! Had very difficult time explaining my problem to tech who seems to have no knowledge of how to submit a trouble ticket on-line. Since upgrading to Parallels version 6.0, I have been experiencing periodic kernel panics - complete lockup of MacBook Pro requiring a hard powercycle. In last 18 hours, there have been 3 kernel panics. Software in use at time was Outlook, Quickbooks Premier, and Excel. All software is updated.
MacBook Pro, MAc OS is 10.6.6. Parallels Version 6, build 11994.
In trying to submit the support request, I attempted to generate a report ID, but 6 attempts to submit the report failed. The instructions are to contact Parallels support for help with submitting the report, but the tech had no idea what I was speaking about.
