Import Boot Camp Option Grayed Out

unfortunately I have the same problem with not active menu "Import Boot Camp"
and after creating new VM the problem not solved.
What can I'll do?

I solved my problem! First for import Boot Camp disc You need create Virtual Machine, second shutdown it and button "import Boot Camp" will accessable

I have followed all of the previous users successful steps, to no avail. I am on parallels version 6. I am trying to use the bootcamp partition which I had created prior to installing parallels, instead of re-installing Windows 7 in a new VM.
The steps I am taking are:
1. I create a new virtual machine, select "Continue without disc".
2. I configure the VM, before starting it.
3. I have tried stopping the VM, shutting it down and still the option to "import bootcamp" is grayed out.
I have tried multiple different ways. I also cannot re-name the partition in disk utility, it's grayed out there too. But I can however restart my mac to use the windows bootcamp partition just fine. It's been working without a hitch (the windows 7 bootcamp partition).
Any help resolving this would be appreciated, thanks.

You need to add the Boot Camp partition to Parallels. Create a new virtual machine using the Boot Camp partition. Then once that's done select that VM and go to Import Boot Camp, and it will create a .hdd VM from the Boot Camp VM.

Launch Parallels Desktop and from the top menu bar click on File/New and in the option to select the CD/DVD, click on the drop down arrow and select 'Boot Camp' and continue as mentioned in the below link under the topic "Creating a Boot Camp Virtual Machine":

But if boot camp is not available over there, only then continue as below
1a. You can select continue with out disk and continue.
2a. Select the Operating System type and continue and select 'Like A Mac' and continue.
3. Select a different name for this virtual machine to isolate it from the previous one and enable the option 'Customize settings before installation' is enabled and click on 'Create' and the configuration will open.
4. In the configuration, please click on 'Hardware' and click on 'Hard Disk 1' on the left hand side and click on the drop down arrow that we have next to 'Source' on the right hand side and select boot camp and click on 'OK' and start the Windows and check the status of the issue and let us know.

Remember, the above steps are to have the same Windows on both sides and is opposite to Import Bootcamp. Import Bootcamp duplicates the Bootcamp Windows and creates a VM out of it, however bootcamp based Vm uses the Bootcamp Windows as the Windows.
