PD4 not using Kaspersky 2009 as advertised.

I have all kinds of advertisements from Parallels that say PD4 comes with Kaspersky 2009, but in fact the version that is included is 7.0.1.325. Kaspersky 2009 is a version 8.X.X.XXX product.

Any chance I could get a copy of 2009? Outlook 2007 seems to cough on the plug-in from Kaspersky.

Go to versiontracker.com, search for Kaspersky Internet Security, select 2009 , scroll down and you'll find a link to 2009 download, it will update your version to the latest, your license is valid.

No activation key available.

I followed the instructions given. After the install completed successfully, I was asked for an activation code in the form of XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX or a key file. I do not have either.

In short, the advice given earlier did not work. What else shall I try?

If you install 2009 on top of 7 (which came with PDM) it uses the license file 7 was using.
