    Hi Everyone,
So i transported a laptop xp installation over to a new macbook. Almost everything is up and running, except for some reason XP won't recognize my CDROM drive. I had to manually copy over the VMtools over the internet in order to install them! I tried changing the device from ide0:1 to ide 1:0, and still nothing. For some reason, however, it can recognize my floppy drive. I tried removing the installed ide bus driver under windows, and still no go. My floppy drive and cdrom drive normally swap out from the laptop where I transported the xp installation from. I tried pointing the virtual cdrom drive to an iso, tried disconnecting and then reconnecting it. The parallels software doesn't have a disabled icon on the cdrom drive, but XP is not finding it. Does anyone have any suggestions? It's getting kind of frusturating...
