I did a search and didn't see anything like this, per se, but it's a big forum...

I was working on my MBP, with parallels running, XP inside. The entire machine had a seizure of some sort, so I had to force it to shut down. Since that point, the XP VM won't boot. I get the "safe Mode..." options, when I select last known good, or start XP regular, the scrolly under the logo scrolls by once maybe more, then it just dumps back to the parallels launcher/property screen.

Safe mode boots just fine. Both with and without networking. I'm hoping that means the VM isn't hosed (no backups, but good advice I'll take when this is solved.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Oh, running build 1940

    UPDATE
Was able to get the VM to boot to the XP install CD. ran repair. all seems right inthe world. Back up the VM tonight!
