Hello, I recently did a new install of XP in Parallels. I want to use my iMac's built in bluetooth in XP, so I go to the Parallels menu, Devices, USB and click on "Apple - Wireless". After I do this I go back to the menu and see that "Apple - Composite" is checked, but "Apple - Wireless" is no longer on the list. (In other words, "Apple - Wireless" turned into "Apple - Composite") XP does not see any bluetooth hardware when "Apple - Composite" is checked. In my other XP partition (bootcamp) I have no problem sharing "Apple - Wireless" (it stays "Apple - Wireless) and using the bluetooth hardware in XP. For what it is worth, there is no Bluetooth control panel on the non-bootcamp partition. I've searched all over and haven't found any answers for this issue. Thanks, qwerty86
Anyone have any ideas on this one? I have a bluetooth GPS that works in OS X, and I'd like to get it to work in XP too.
I had the same question. Found the answer on MacOSXhints. Essentially, you connect the bluetooth GPS to the mac. You then use a program called SerialClient, which connect to the serial port of you GPS and transfers data to /tmp/serial. MacOSXhints has more details. It works great. Here is title of the article and link. 10.4: Share a serial port with Windows on Parallels http://www.macosxhints.com/article.p...70111135928615 http://forums.macosxhints.com/archive/index.php/t-63668.html
