I had installed Parallels 10 for Mac on my Macbook Pro to use with some applications. However, I do a lot of work using Wordpress sites and experienced problems with xml files for Wordpress sites. Parallels kept changing them so they could not be read when uploaded into my Wordpress sites. So I removed Parallels. However, the xml files are still being encoded when downloaded. I think my virtual machines may still exist. How do I find them without Parallels, or will I need to reinstall Parallels to locate then to eliminate them? Or could there be something else happening? I'm not a highly versed in program languages, so please offer a solution in a step-by-step format. Thanks.
Hi Helen, Please try removing Parallels Desktop with the help of PDremover.zip and check how it goes. Please refer to this KB article to download PDremover.zip.
