I am running Suse 10.2 on my laptop as the host system, with a WinXP guest in parallels 2.2. The problem occurs when I use an extended desktop across two monitors (xinerama). By the way, the graphics card is an Intel 915 Mobile. The problem is that as soon as I start the WinXP guest, it appears to try to grab the second monitor. This seemingly fails, resulting in a black screen on the second screen and the parallels session in a window on screen one. After this, parallels runs fine but the Xinerama screens never recover (even after closing parallels). Did any see this before, and more importantly figure out a fix? One idea is that I might have had it maximized on screen 2 at some point (I seem to recall it working ok initially) and that X11 and/or parallels tries to go back to that configuration without success.
