Hi, I have 3 VM's created. 2 Redhat linux(1),linux(2), XP and 2000. I would like to create a static host-only network between the four VM's to test some email sending from linux(1) to linux(2) and XP using win2k as a DNS. Ultimatley I would like to make a mini (data-center) showing email flow and add a few linux sinks to accept or drop email. I am not a networking guy, so I am wondering has anyone tried playing around with host-only networking to test their own (datacenter dev work)? Does anyone have any architecture that that have already built and can send me a diagram on how they configured the networking (ip's, subnets etc.). I would like to do this w/o having to be connected to the internet at all, basically a standalone closed network to show my product. I know many people use VMware for this type to testing and since I am now a Intel Mac user, I would like to use II's to do this "datacenter" work. It is an easyway to demonstrate product to customers, on a single machine, without lugging around multiple boxes, or doing installs at a client site. TIA, dan
