    I do Mac support for the company that I work for. I have one install of Parallels on a MacBook Pro 2.2 Ghz that will lock up Windows whenever Windows is rebooted. Basically it will shut down Windows, do the bios part and then either crash Parallels or just freeze forcing you to press the stop button on Parallels. If I just do a shutdown and start it back up manually, then it boots just fine. This has been going on since I setup Parallels on this machine. I've used the same Windows image since on another machine and no issues with it so I'm pretty certain that the image is fine.

    The Mac is running OS 10.4.11 and has 2 GB of ram. I'm attaching the Technical Data file that Parallels spit out when it crashed. Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?

    How much free space you have on Mac OS?

    Please paste here files from
    * /Library/Logs/panic.log
    or ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Parallels.crash.log

    It looks like I was able to fix it. I logged in as root, uninstalled Parallels, rebooted and logged back in as root again and reinstalled it. Logged back in as the person and Windows is now rebooting properly.

    Oh and there was no Parallels crash log and the panic log only had one thing in it from last year.
