I have a Mac mini with 2.0 core 2 duo. I have parallels 3.0 and the latest build. I am finding that when running xp in parallels even when idle and monitoring the system with Mac's system monitor one core of the processor is running at complete capacity. This causes anything in windows to run very slow.

I have reinstalled windows twice now and each time it corrects the problem. then anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks later the same thing happens. I am making sure that nothing else is running. I am not doing any of the suggested windows updates. I have the maximum ram for the machine.

    Any suggestions??
