windows xp in xandros

I have parallels installed on my host os, xandros v4, my guest system is windows xp.

When i start the guest os, i get this error message, can not find /dev/rtc, this device is not on any of my linux computers. What is it?

Thanks for the response but those people have /dev/rtc on the system, there doesn't seem to be one on mine.

Try:

#cd /dev
#touch rtc
#chown root.audio rtc
#chmod 660 rtc

And see what happens.

Tried your method but still get the same error message, xp still seems to run ok.

I can't seem to find /dev/rtc any where on my comp.

Probably you will only be missing audio, but it would be nice to solve.
