Due to the lack of Customer Support from Parallels and when I do get support it doesn't make any sense as one person said to just install Windows Vista Business Upgrade as a new OS well you can't due to it being a upgrade, but each time I'm told to empty my Users>Documents>Parallels fldr. contents to the trash and when I do this it trashes my Win/XP causing me to load it again when Vista says you have to run your previous OS in order to use this Upgrade.......I know I should know better than dumping my OS but when the Tech's that work for the company that you bought your product from tells you to do something you think maybe there is some trick I don't know about, MAIN ? = HOW DO I ACTIVATE WINDOWS SO I GET BACK THE AMOUNT OF COMPUTERS THAT ORIGINALLY WAS ALLOWED WITH MY WINDOWS XP DVD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME
i can't understand problem correctly, so i can make suggestion and you will correct me, if i'll goiing wrong. So, you want to install windows vista. You deleted all of your windows xp installations from Parallels folder and when you have started installing vista, it told you that it couldn;t find activated windows xp. and you need to restore your xp installation. i suppose that you can't do this. You should install xp again (you already have legal copy, that was installed inside Parallels, isn't it?) and then upgrade it to vista.
