    Dear reader,

I am running Windows ME 4.90.3000 on PD 7 (OS X 10.8.4). I have installed this OS in order to be able to play some old games but the guest OS will not connect to my real CD/DVD drive, connected to the host, which is an external disc drive (this one amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008Y6SH02 as I'm running a rMBP).

Is there a way to get the virtual machine to accept the real CD/DVD drive or, alternatively, is there a driver I could use to connect the external drive directly to Windows ME? Any workaround? Or is all futile, forced to try with XP?

Also the clipboard does not appear to be working - and I have installed Tools.
Additionally I don't seem to have any better display setting than 24 bit - is there a driver I can use for 32 bit?

    Thanks in advance.
