The problem is this, I migrated Windows XP from a PC to a Mac successfully using Parallels Transporter. When I try to launch Windows Live Mail it will not launch. I get an error message saying that "Your calendar contains corrupt data causing Windows Live mail too close 0x80070057". The WLM calendar folder on the mac is empty. I checked the calendar fold on the PC and it's empty as well because I've never used the calendar. I tried reinstalling WLM but that did no good as I got the same message again. Outlook Express works just fine but not WLM. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Turning off daylight savings time helps. See this thread: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=97498
Shaddam IV, That worked!!!!! I can't thank you enough...you're a life saver!! Did you come up with this solution? Whoever did is a genius.
Windows Live Mail not working I am experiencing same error here. I am running a Windows 7 VM on new iMac. WIN& clean install. When I try to open Live Mail it says error 08x8000ffff calendar corrupt. I turned off daylight savings automation but still get same error. Any other suggestions. This is real frustrating in that I use Live Mail for a number of things.
Hi CJBALLE, the issue will be fixed in next update of Parallels Desktop 5. I cannot provide you with release date.
