This is less a Parallels question and more a Windows question I suppose. Bit confused: Keep getting the bubble that says I'm running out of disk space (around 50M left) but I sure can't figure out why. It says I have 19.5 on the disk, but when I add up the size of the folders in the C: drive, I only get about 15G. The virtual memory is set to 768 max (which I'm assuming eats up some of that 19.5G). Where are my other 3-4 gigs? Is there a more advanced way to look at this? I plan on adding a second virtual drive, but the data that I can safely move is a rather small part of that 15G... Thanks, Heath
Check what you can see in disk management? Do you have 2 partitions http://support.microsoft.com/kb/309000
when you add up the files / folders on your drive there's a good chance you're not including hidden files. also window's vm starts out at 1.5 x the amount of physical ram so ~ 1.2gb. you should also include the files in your recycle bin.
