Coherence works pretty well! :) On my Windows XP instance, I have my most active folders and files on my desktop that I use everyday.

I would like to put those on my Mac desktop now. I do want to keep my work files and folders in Win XP and not have it 'corrupt' my Mac which contains my music and stuff.

Is there a way to put an Excel file on my Mac desktop that will launch Excel in Parallels?

Is there a way to have a shortcut on the Mac Desktop to a Windows folder so that when I click it it launches Windows File Explorer in the right directory?

I'm trying to get a response out of parallels that would solve this issue. The helper apps they create to launch windows apps apparently have no way to take arguments to pass to the windows applications.

The command you want in windows to do this is simply "C:\Windows\Explorer.exe c:\somedir\", you NEED the argument to Explorer.exe. The way they have the helper apps setup it does not seem you can do this at the moment.
