Crap! I'm running Parallels 4.0 (just installed yesterday) on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.4.11 and Vista. I went into Vista yesterday (Nov 21) and it downloaded an update. Not real sure what the update was - may have been a service pack. Now I can't get into Windows. When I go to Parallels and click start I get: Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem: 1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer 2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next." 3. Click "Repair your computer." File: ntoskrnl.exe Status: 0xc0000098 Info: Windows failed to load because a required file is missing, or corrupt. I don't know what to do from here. Don't know how to start from the Windows install disk from this point. Can someone talk to me like you are talking to a rock and give me step-by-step instructions on what to do?
