My Win XP desktop "slides" to the right after logging in under Parallels 3.0, build 5608. It's been doing it for a while, and I've been living with it but have had enough.

I can CTL+Click on the taskbar and check "Show the Desktop" but as soon as I go back to Mac and return to Windows, the desktop is gone again.

Anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks a lot...

    Hi,

Actually, there is no "Windows Desktop Problem" ;)
This is a Parallels Desktop option - to see Windows Start bar with Mac desktop.
It is called "Coherence". When you switch the running virtual machine with one or more running applications into
Coherence mode, you will see the Windows applications windows on your Mac OS X desktop
along with the Mac OS X applications windows.

If you do not like coherence - just switch to Single-window mode (you will see virtual machine in separate window) or to Full Screen mode (you will see nothing except Windows).

See Parallels Desktop for Mac User Guide (pages 110-111):
