I did the prerequisite search for my topic prior to posting.
I have .bat files that reside on a network drive. If I were on a real PC I would double click those, they would open in Windows Command Processor, execute, and move on.

I have tried on XP and Windows 7. I assigned the .bat file to open in Command Processor. However, they just hang there. They do nothing.

In the search that I did, it seems there there was some funkiness with the "show packages" that I could get into. however, that was written in 2007. With 3-4 versions of Parallels and Windows advancing since then, I am wondering if there are other solutions? This is quite disconcerting that a .bat file can't run as it would in a Windows environment.
