    Hi all,

there are several threads in this forum concerning this issue: Host goes to sleep, windows (guest) clock "freezes" and on waking up resumes with the "old" time, and eventually ist synced again. However, this can sometimes take hours and in the meantime, time critical applications get in trouble. I have also experienced severe networking issues in my home network due to the clock not being set correctly.
are there any best practice instructions on how to set this stuff up? Yes, I know those settings in Parallels/the VM.
But what do I need to configure beside this within the windows guest's date and time settings? Should I point it to some internet time server? Or to my server's/router's time server or even to the Mac host itself? Is this issue ever getting solved or am I overlooking something?

(Using PD 10 on a Mavericks iMac as host and Win7 SP1 as guest)
