Windows runs into BSOD after increasing the hard disk of the virtual machine.
Virtual Machine > Configure > Hardware > Hard disk > Edit.
Error: A recent hardware or software changes has occurred.
Is it due to ".hds" files in the ".pvm" ? What are the troubleshooting steps for the BSOD generated ?
Does this happen due to increasing of the hard disk size by large value? eg: from 30 Gb to 100 Gb.

Great. Same exact thing happened to me. Virtual machine is now worthless. I had to delete the snapshots too since it won't resize with snapshots, so it's all broken now. Sigh. Thanks God for backups, horrible though that it just corrupts the hdd when resizing.
