For years, I have used PerfectDisk (currently using version 7) in Windows. It has always done boot time (not part of Windows 2000) and while Windows running (there is a built-in defragger for this) defragmentation well. I ran PerfectDisk tonight and it did the while Windows running part fine, but the offline boot time defragmentation appears to not be working since each time I restart Windows and run PerfectDisk, the product suggests offline defragmentation again. I have never has this problem with repeated suggestion and apparently no effective offline defragmentation on a real PC. Any suggestions or thoughts? michael Parallels 3188, Parallels Tools installed Windows 2000 SP4 512 MB RAM 8 GB HD plain allocated, not dynamic MBP Core 2 Duo 2 GB RAM 160 GB HD Superdrive
