I run Parallels 11/Windows 7 to use a payroll program our company uses. The payroll program will open and function normally with the exception of a few User Interface screens that open multiple table and headers from the SQL Server. When this happens, the User Interface Screen freezes and it can't be regained and I must force close it with CTRL+ALT+DEL. Screens that just open one table/header work without any problems. The SQL Server database is on my company network. In order for the payroll program to work we have to map a drive from the users pc to the programs folder on the SQL Server. So when I run Parallels/Windows 7 I log in as a user on the companies domain and the mapped drive connects. I can open the payroll software, I can move thru the menus, I can edit single records, I can't edit multiple records when a screen opens multiple tables and headers (thats when it freezes). Anyone that can help me resolve this will be greatly appreciated. I filed a service ticket with parallels and they did the Isolate Windows to no avail and were extremely nice but said SQL issues are beyond there scope, which is understandable. Thanks in Advance!!! Note: I am the only one in the company using a MacBook Pro and Parallels to try and run the software. All other windows user do not have problems. The payroll software will run fine from other Windows based Virtual machines, however because I am on a mac the payroll company will not give me any support.
Is there anyone on here that may know some SQL guys that may could help? I have two threads unanswered, one for several months. Please help yes figure this out, thanks!
