I did an upgrade on a MacPro 2010 in mid February and added a PCIe card and SSD. The unit was configured to dual-boot using Mountain Lion X and Windows 8 Pro 64 bit. Windows was installed on bootcamp and I could access it using Parallels Desktop 9 on OS X.
I just recently did a fresh install of Mavericks OS and installed the latest Parallels Desktop 9, went through bootcamp to install Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit. I can access windows partition when I boot my machine and bootcamp works fine. I cannot access my bootcamp partition through PD. I even followed the instructions below and it did not help.

My windows is installed in legacy/bios mode and during the "upgrading bootcamp ..." process, it will get stuck on;
Trying to boot from SATA drive 1...
Any advice on how to solve this?
