Hi I was wondering if someone could advise what causes icons to be displayed in launchpad from the windows OS. I have one icon in particular (Java) that appears and although i have uninstalled java i cannot remove it from launchpad. Another icon just appeared tonight and I'm curious how these come about and how to remove. Both rogue icons are Java and Wireshark. Thanks in advance for your time. Hello TonySmith, Please follow the steps suggested in this article: http://kb.parallels.com/112798 to know how to remove Windows applications icons from Launchpad. If you don't want Windows applications folder to be shown in Dock, please go to Virtual Machine configuration from ( http://kb.parallels.com/117287 ) > Options > Applications > Uncheck "Show Windows applications folder in Dock" and uncheck "Add new applications to Launchpad".
