    Hi there,

    Hope everyone is well!

I've got the latest version of Parallels 8 installed on my Mac running Windows 7 (with all the latest updates) as the guest OS. Windows 7 has 4GB RAM assigned to it, 2 CPU's and 512MB graphics memory. My Macbook Pro has the 2.8Ghz i7 with 16GB RAM. I've noticed that when running the VM with the parallels setting set to "best for retina", the graphics in Windows 7 seem sluggish.

For example when I minimize a window, or close a window, it seems a bit 'steppy' or 'laggy'. I wasn't having these problems with my previous Macbook Pro although that only had 3GB RAM!

If I turn the retina option off, and set to scaled, 1440*900 it's absolutely fine.

    Any ideas?

Thanks a lot for any help and suggestions!

    Cheers,

    Tom
