Windows 7 and UAC

    I'm using the 2X Client v8 on Windows 7 and I get prompted by UAC every time I open it. Is this normal, and is there any way to stop it?

    Well... That is hardly a fix! Tampering with windows security.

    Now, the question remains. is it possible to run the client without triggering UAC? If not when will there be a client that does not? It is not acceptable to disable UAC on all machines as that would also disable UAC for all applications.

    hi

    2X Client should work on windows 7 (uac enabled) it will only pop-up the uac window after you open the 2x client.
