I am not able to attach information output from My Parallels for Mac about my virtual OSs.

    I'm Using Parallels 18.

My Windows 10 OS was originally allocated 126GB on a two gig Mac hard drive.

I went through the process of changing that to 256GB. In the Control Center on my Mac it shows "Windows 10-0.hdd" "Disk capacity: 256GB.

In Windows the C: Drive Properties still shows Capacity: 126GB.

Any idea what needs to be done to get Windows to recognize the new space?

    thanks,

    Terry

    Aries,

    thanks for the reply.

All I changed was the setting in the Parallels Control Center. Can't say that I understand what "Did you make the change in the VM settings for that drive" means nor what "IIRC, the drives are actually setup as dynamic by default, but it makes sense that you'd be able to change that, but IDK if it would preallocate or simply use that as a new hard limit." means.

    Can you clarify?

    thanks,
    Terry
