I am running Parallels Desktop for Mac on an Intel MacBook Pro, latest version of Sonoma, latest version of Parallels. After upgrading to Sonoma, I started having problems with my WIN 10 32-bit VM starting slowly, sometimes taking 2-1/2 minutes to complete, and also closing slowly. Eventually, the startup would fail and then restart OK. That is until about a week ago when it started ending with the BSOD. I have been through every repair step many times, have communicated with tech support and so far the WIN 10 VM is DOA. I have a WIN 11 64-bit that is running fine although the startup is slower than before the Sonoma upgrade. I tried to install a new WIN 10 VM as I have the original program files on DVD. That worked fine till the install got the point of starting windows to start the final configuration steps and that ended with the BSOD. I have been using this VM for many years and am wondering if perhaps either the Parallels program is at fault or if there is a compatibility issue with Sonoma.
