I am getting an intel Mac soon and plan on running Parallels. I have Virtual PC with Windows 2000 included on the VPC CD- is it possible to install Parallels and then install just Win2K from the VPC disk to be able to run Win2K under Parallels? Thank you for your help!
Does the Windows 2000 that come with VPC allow you to install a separate copy of Windows 2000 on other computers? I would guess not since usually the Windows OS that comes with VPC is in the form of an "OS pack", which means it is a prebuilt VPC image for use with VPC only. If not then you won't be able to use it as stated. I have heard of ways that some people use to "extract" Windows XP from the OS pack for use with Parallels and Boot Camp. You will have to search the Boot Camp section of the Apple Discussions Board for details.
