Hello Forum, Before reading this article: http://ptech.allthingsd.com/20081001/one-way-to-turn-a-mac-into-a-pc-just-got-better/ I thought DirectX could not never be working in a VM, but oviously I was wrong...... And when I read the part about Photosynth that can run in Fusion I was happy that it finaly is possible to run such an advanced application in a VM. Yes, I know that Bootcamp can do this all from the beginning but why should I use Bootcamp if a VM **can** run the same app? I really hope that the management and stockholders of Parallels realize that this review is bad for business and bad for there customers who wants at least the same, or better, even more as the ones that are using Fusion. So until that is happened I strongly advice the management of Parallels to declare that from now on there are no vacations, no more free weekends, and that from now on every developer has to work at least 120 hour per week and that getting sick is not option, starting this moment...... Wim
Parallels supports DirectX 8, and will probably support DirectX 9 in PDM 4. Fusion, like Parallels, doesn't fully support DirectX also.
