Hi, I have not used Windows after XP was launched and had moved to Mac OS. I now need to starting using Windows again and have installed Parallels 9 on my MacBook Pro. Now I have to decide which Windows OS I need to install. My requirements are limited and would use Windows only to run small applications. I thought about going for XP but it has lot of compatibility issues and I was wondering which Windows 7 edition should I go for. I am leaning towards Windows 7 Professional? But should I go for 32 or 64 bit for MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.8 13" Late 2011 model?
Hi JakeMathew, All versions of Windows 7 can be installed on your Mac using Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac. Please check the compatibility of the applications you want to use before installing a Windows OS. If the applications would work on a 64 bit Windows Operating system, then you could install Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit.
