I wish to install Parallels Desktop for Mac on my MacBook Pro. My concern is which version of Windows XP would be most compatible both with Parallels and the MacBook, Windows XP Professional or Home, 64 or 32 bit. For example, this web site contains the following warning: "Windows XP Professional x64 Edition cannot be successfully installed on x86 (32-bit) systems or 64-bit Intel Itanium-based systems. 32-bit device drivers are not supported on Windows XP Professional x64 Edition". http://www.provantage.com/microsoft-zat-00124~7MSXX0LX.htm Not knowing anything about the Intel processor used in the Mac, I don't know how to interpret the above warning. Possibly this question should be posted on the Apple discussions board, but I have seen posters of Parallels questions being told that they should post to this board.
