I am a new Mac user migrating from Windows for the first time. I have just purchased and received my iMac and boxed Parallels 7 for Mac. I will be running a lot of my current windows based applications and will need to have some run natively on the Mac. Is it advisable to install and run Bootcamp first or do I install Parallels, and then install bootcamp afterwards? I really want to get it right the first time, so any advise will be well appreciated. I know Parallels will allow me to run Windows apps but I really need to take advantage of the Bootcamp efficiency for some memory hog Windows apps. So please advise the best installation path. Many thanks.
I recommend to install bootcamp 1st then Parallels in that way to use the option that appears on the Parallels 7 installation
