i have downloaded a file from my VM XP and am trying to locate the file i downloaded now using my OS X. i have used the search function on my mac laptop and cant locate. can anyone point me in the right direction?
You can't find that file in OS X. Cause your whole XP-harddrive is just one file in OS X as it is a virtual harddrive. If you wanna transfer the file from the virtual machine you can do it trough a shared network between OS X and the virtual machine, in your case XP.
