PW installed cleanly on my iMac 20 intel. I can boot a VM from FreeDOS or the Win 89 emergency boot, both .fdd image files. I can see CDs in the optical drive. I can run, for example, the Win 98SE setup.exe from CD. But from command line or in the setup program, I can't see an emulated hard disk.

    A: & B: are fdd
If FreeDOS, C: is the ramdisk
C: or D: is the CD drive

Hard Disk 1 is configured in the property page at default size, name and location. Deleted and recreated for good measure - same results. Also made a new VM, all default - same result.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks!

The hard disk isn't visible because it's not partitioned & formatted. Run FDISK, make a partition, and FORMAT the partition (make note of the drive letter in FDISK).

Thanks Wesley, that was just the ticket. I did use DOS about 20 years ago. LOL

    Cheers,
