I recently installed the Parallels WS for Linux trial. I need to re-size a partitiion. There seems to be alot of posts that describe how to do this using "Image Tools", but apparently I am the only one that doesnt know where to find it. Sooo.. Could someone please tell where where to get "Image Tools"? Thanks in advance! Jason
. Parallels tools for Linux are not yet available. Most of what has been said would indicate that Linux tools will be available in the next minor version later this month. A little bit of what has been said would indicate a hedging of the bet so that tools can be released in the next major version later this year. .
Upgrade Eligibility Thanks for the response. Of course, that brings up the question, as to whether or not a purchase today would make me eligible for the the upcoming minor release/major release? Is there an upgrade fee? Sorry for the questions... I have not bought any proprietary software in a few years Thanks, Jason
The image tools are not the same as the tools for windows. The image tools in linux are used to change the virtual hard drive size and type. To start the image tool in linux, open a terminal, and as a user, type "imagetool" without the quotes. You should down load the user guide which is available on the documentation page of the parallels web site. don
