Hi, I'm running SUSE 10.1 kernel 2.6.16.21-0.25 with Windows XP as the guest OS. When the VM is running the laptop (Dell 630m) won't suspend. It appears to suspend but it just cycles back. I get the following message repeated many times: CApp:VmCallback():Unknown message code:0x16 in the terminal window in which I started Parallels.

If I suspend the VM then I can suspend SUSE.

I really want to be able to just suspend the laptop without having to suspend the VM.

    Thanks,
    Julie

Since Parallels doesn't support ACPI it might be a signal problem. Wonder how complicated it actually is...

Thanks I didn't realize that Parallels doesn't support ACPI. It doesn't appear to state this in the manual and I only searched the Linux forums. Several references show up in the Mac forums. Evidently ACPI support will be in the next release.
